This box is the taller sibling of the flat 280 x 280 mm size: the same square footprint, but 150 mm high. That leaves room for contents that do not fit in a single layer, while the footprint lines up just as neatly on a pallet. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for shipping boxes, and this size is chosen above all by companies that want to keep a fixed pallet pattern.

The material is 7 mm double wall corrugated board in BC flute. Compared with a single wall box of the same size, the wall is more than twice as thick. You notice it in the stacking pressure the box can take and in how it looks after a trip through the sorting centre.

What do you use this size for?

Several items per shipment: enough height for two or three layers.
Fragile products: room all round for a layer of protective material.

How many layers can I stack on a pallet?

That depends on the weight of the contents, not just on the box. With normal contents, double wall easily supports a full pallet load; with very heavy contents it is wise to use a layer pad.

Is the box brown on the inside too?

Yes, the board is brown and unprinted on both sides. That makes it suitable for situations where the customer opens the box and sees the inside.

What is the difference from the 280 x 280 x 100 mm model?

Only the height: 150 instead of 100 mm. The footprint, the board and the pack size are the same, so you can include both sizes in the same pallet pattern.
