Small products with real weight need a box that holds its shape. This cardboard box with internal dimensions of 200 x 140 x 140 mm is made from 7 mm double wall corrugated board (BC flute) and stays rigid under pressure. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for packaging materials, and we supply this regular slotted container (FEFCO 0201) flat, so a pack of 45 takes up very little storage space.

What is this box used for?

The square 140 x 140 mm end panel and the 200 mm length make this box a natural fit for small, elongated products: a row of glass jars, a set of candles, tins, metal parts or a bottle that needs to stand upright. Webshops, wholesalers and technical companies mainly use this format for shipments where the weight per box is higher than its size suggests. Seal the box with packaging tape in an H-pattern for a secure closure.

The stated 200 x 140 x 140 mm are internal dimensions. Because of the 7 mm double wall, the external size is approximately 214 x 154 x 154 mm. Keep this in mind when calculating shipping costs or filling an outer carton.

Does such a small box really need double wall board?

For light products, a single wall box is often sufficient. If you ship compact but heavy items such as spare parts, jars or tins, the double wall prevents the box from bulging or denting during sorting and transport.
