Double wall cardboard boxes - 1180 x 780 x 860mm

Cardboard boxes 1180 x 780 x 860 mm – a bulk unit sized to the Euro pallet

This format calls for a different way of packing: not a box you send as a parcel, but a transport unit of 1180 x 780 x 860 mm that stands on a Euro pallet and stays neatly within it. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for cardboard boxes, including these heavy-duty bulk sizes, supplied as a full pallet of 80 at a time.

With a height of 86 centimetres and the full pallet footprint, it holds over 0.79 m³. That calls for board that can carry its own contents: the 7 mm double wall BC flute absorbs the stacking pressure as soon as a second unit is placed on top.

Pallet transport and transhipment

A filled unit of this size no longer goes through a parcel network, but ships as a pallet load handled with a pallet truck or forklift. Because the box stays within the pallet footprint, the forks can pass without touching the board, and the edges are not damaged during transhipment. Stretch wrap all round down past the bottom edge of the pallet, so box and pallet form a single unit.

Frequently asked questions

How will this order be delivered to me?

As a pallet shipment. The boxes arrive flat-packed and stacked on a pallet; make sure you can unload with a pallet truck or forklift.

Is a pallet underneath essential?

In practice, yes. When full, this unit cannot be moved by hand, and the board is not designed to be dragged across the floor. Place it on a pallet before you start filling.

Can I order a lid separately?

This model is a regular slotted container (RSC, FEFCO 0201) with integral flaps. If you want a separate lid, sleeve and base, take a look at our pallet boxes.
