Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for mini wrapping film, and at 10 cm this is the narrowest web you can still work comfortably around a bundle with. The roll is 150 metres long and 17 my thick. The box of 24 rolls comes with a dispenser with handle, so every packing station can be equipped at once.

A 10 cm web lets you place the film exactly where the bundle needs to hold together, without dragging material across the whole product. On items you wrap all day long, that difference in consumption adds up quickly.

What do you bundle with a 10 cm web?

Cables, leads and hoses, stacks of printed matter, timber battens, curtain rails and long-handled tools. It is equally handy for holding a lid on a crate or joining two boxes for transport. The film clings only to itself, so your product stays clean – no tape and no staples involved.

In a department that packs all day, a 150-metre roll runs out faster than you would expect. With 24 rolls in house you avoid weekly reordering and every workstation keeps its own roll within reach. Store the box dry and out of direct sunlight; the film then stays supple for years and keeps its stretch.

Frequently asked questions

How long do 24 rolls last in a packing department?

That depends on your bundle size. Counting roughly one and a half metres of film per bundle, one roll gives around a hundred bundles and a box adds up to several thousand. For a bench handling dozens of orders a day, that is usually a few months' supply.

Why 10 cm and not wider?

On narrow, elongated products a wider web wastes film along the sides. 10 cm puts the tension exactly where you need it. If you mostly wrap bulky boxes, a wider mini roll is the more sensible choice.

Is 17 my strong enough for my bundles?

For light to medium bundles that stay put on a pallet or shelf, yes. If the bundles are lifted by the film or have sharp corners, choose a heavier gauge of 20 or 23 my instead.

Can the film go into plastic recycling?

Yes. LLDPE is a single-polymer polyethylene film and belongs in the PE film stream. Keep the material clean and dry and you can hand it in baled.
