How do you fasten a cable tie?

Fastening is quick: guide the band around the bundle, push the pointed end through the head and pull. The ratchet closure engages automatically and does not let go. For firm, even tension and a neat, flush cut, use a cable tie tool.

Are these cable ties suitable for heavy bundles?

Yes, the greater width gives a high tensile strength. For the very heaviest applications there are special heavy-duty cable ties.

What is this cable tie resistant to?

The polyamide 6.6 is UV-stabilised and resistant to diluted acids and oils. The tie works at temperatures of roughly -40 to +80 °C, suitable for most indoor and outdoor applications.

Can I reuse the cable tie?

No, the self-locking ratchet closure is permanent and therefore single-use. You need to cut through it to remove the tie.
