Thomas & Betts TY300-50-100: long natural cable tie, 291 x 4.6 mm, for indoor use, 1000 pieces

Thick cable runs in a tray, a bundle of hoses inside a machine or a mass of network cables in a patch cabinet: this is where a long tie is indispensable. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for Thomas & Betts cable ties, and the TY300-50-100 is the long natural version from the Ty-Fast range. With a length of 291 mm and a 4.6 mm strap, it closes around bundles from 3 to 76 mm in diameter, and with 1000 pieces per pack you have ample stock for larger projects.

The strap is made of uncoloured polyamide 6.6, halogen and silicone free and rated UL 94 V-2. The pawl is moulded in one piece with the head: the strap slides through easily yet is held firmly, up to a tensile strength of 222 N (approx. 23 kg). Natural polyamide is not UV stabilised, so this tie belongs indoors. In light-coloured surroundings the uncoloured tie is also less conspicuous; you will find more options among our white cable ties.

With long ties, the difference shows in the finish: the low, rounded head sits flat on the bundle, and the double-sided finger grip gives you a secure hold when pulling a long tail tight. That keeps your work fast and tidy, even at high volumes.

When should I choose the black TY300-50X-100 instead of this natural version?

As soon as the tie will be used outdoors or exposed to sunlight. The black TY300-50X-100 is UV resistant and heat stabilised, with the same width and tensile strength. For indoor applications, the natural TY300-50-100 is perfectly adequate.
