Not every job calls for a box of a thousand. For maintenance engineers, facilities teams and installers who occasionally need to tidy a bundle indoors, the TY175-50-100 is the practical choice. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for Thomas & Betts cable ties, and we supply this natural 186 x 4.6 mm cable tie in a bag of 100 with a euro hang hole. Hang it on a pegboard or in a stores rack and the ties are always within reach.

Whereas many Ty-Rap models have a metal barb, the Ty-Fast range uses a polyamide pawl moulded in one piece with the head. The strap feeds smoothly through the head yet locks firmly. Prefer a tie with a stainless steel lock? Take a look at our metal tooth cable ties. The material is polyamide 6.6, halogen and silicone free, and not UV stabilised: this tie is made for indoor use.

With a tensile strength of 222 N (approx. 23 kg) and a bundle range up to 44 mm, the TY175-50-100 is a true all-rounder for indoor work. The low, rounded head sits compactly on the bundle for a neat finish inside a cabinet or trunking.

What is the difference between the TY175-50-100 and the TY175-50?

Both are the same natural 186 x 4.6 mm Ty-Fast cable tie. The TY175-50-100 comes in a bag of 100 with a euro hang hole, the TY175-50 in a pack of 1000. If you use this size regularly in large quantities, the larger pack is more economical.

Can I install this cable tie in a cold room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits. The operating temperature range runs from -40 °C to +85 °C, but installation requires a minimum of -20 °C. If you need to fit ties at even lower temperatures, choose cold-resistant cable ties.

Why does this tie have no metal barb?

The Ty-Fast range is made entirely of plastic. The moulded polyamide pawl needs little force to insert and still holds the strap securely. For most indoor bundles that is more than sufficient.
