When a 100 mm tie is just too short and a long size would be overkill, the TY125-40-100 hits the sweet spot. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for Thomas & Betts cable ties, and this size is a favourite among data and office network installers. Its 141 mm length secures bundles from 1.5 to 32 mm, while the 3.6 mm strap reaches a tensile strength of 180 N. You get 100 pieces per bag.

This Ty-Fast is also made entirely from polyamide 6.6, with a pawl moulded into the head. The strap glides smoothly through the head and stays put once tightened. Thanks to the low, rounded head, patch leads and power cords lie neatly side by side with no protruding corners. The material is halogen- and silicone-free. Ideal for indoor installations

The natural version is not UV-stabilised and is therefore meant for indoor use. In server rooms, meter cupboards and offices, its inconspicuous colour is actually an advantage.

Frequently asked questions about the TY125-40-100

Why a 3.6 mm strap rather than 2.4 mm?

A wider strap can take more load. The TY125-40-100 reaches 180 N, more than twice the 80 N of the narrow TY100-18-100. Bundle diameter is determined by length; at 141 mm this tie handles bundles up to 32 mm.

Can I bundle data cables without damaging them?

Yes, as long as you do not overtighten. The tie should hold the bundle without deforming the cable jacket. A tensioning tool keeps the tension consistent from one tie to the next.

Is there a version for outdoor use?

Yes. The black TY125-40X-100 has the same dimensions and tensile strength but is UV resistant, making it suitable for outdoors.
