Complete steel strapping set 12 mm with MST device

With this complete steel strapping set 12 mm , you lay the foundation to securely and firmly strap heavy and stable loads. The set includes black lacquered steel band with single winding (SW) and is a complete starter set: you receive the matching MST steel strapping device, a mobile steel band reel, and a steel strapping scissors. An ideal choice for companies that regularly ship machine parts, construction materials, wooden products, or heavy parcels without compromising on tensile strength.

What is a complete steel strapping set 12 mm?

Steel strapping is the strongest strapping material available and is used for loads that must exhibit virtually no stretch and must withstand sharp edges or high temperatures. In this set, the 12 mm black lacquered steel band is combined with all the necessary tools, allowing you to get started immediately without collecting loose items. The MST device tensions and seals the band in one go without seals, the reel provides a stable and safe unwinding, and with the steel strapping scissors , you can cut the band cleanly and burr-free.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What exactly is included in this 12 mm steel strapping set?

The set includes 1 roll of black lacquered steel band 12 mm (SW), 1 MST seal-less steel strapping device, 1 mobile steel band reel, and 1 steel strapping scissors.

How much weight can 12 mm steel band carry?

This 12 mm steel band has a tensile strength of 550 kg and is suitable for heavy and stable loads where you want virtually no stretch, such as construction materials, wood, and metal.

Do I need steel band seals with this device?

No. The MST device is seal-less and seals the band without loose seals, so you only need to reorder the steel band once the roll is empty.

When should I choose 12 mm instead of 16 or 19 mm?

The 12 mm version is the lighter choice within the steel strapping range: handy and strong enough for many applications. If you need even more tensile strength, you can opt for the wider 16 or 19 mm variants.
