The 188 mm length gives you a bit more slack, so you position the bundle easily and tighten it neatly without twisting. Ideal for assembly work where you set many bundles in a row. With a cable tie pliers you tension every tie to the same level for a consistent finish.

Finishing and outdoor use

After closing, you can trim the excess tail for a tidy result. These white ties are meant for indoor use; for outdoors, where UV radiation plays a role, choose our black cable ties.

How do I finish the protruding tail neatly?

After tightening, cut the excess band flush to the head with side cutters. Don't cut too close to the head, so the locking mechanism stays intact and no sharp point is left.

Do these ties stay flexible at low temperatures?

Polyamide 6.6 remains usable across a wide range of roughly -40 to +85 °C. In frost the material gets a little stiffer, so fit the tie gently to avoid unnecessary stress.

Can I reuse this cable tie?

No, once closed the tie locks permanently and is for single use. If you want to reuse it, choose our reusable cable ties.
