Green heat-resistant cable ties 200 x 2.5 mm

This green heat-resistant bundling strap (200 x 2.5 mm) is specially developed for hot environments: the heat-stabilised polyamide 6.6 withstands -40 to +120 °C while retaining a tensile strength of 8.1 kg. Suitable for bundles up to 53 mm in diameter. The pack contains 1000 pieces.

These heat-resistant cable ties are developed for hot environments and are used, among other things, for:

• tying together medium-sized cable bundles near heat sources;
• wiring near industrial ovens, machines and heat sources;
• fastenings in shipbuilding and engine manufacturing;

How do you fasten a heat-resistant cable tie?

A heat-resistant cable tie – also known as a tie-wrap or bundling strap – closes with a self-locking toothed head. As soon as you push the pointed end through the head and it passes the first tooth, the tie can no longer move back. You tighten the tie by hand or use a cable tie tool, which pulls the tie to a preset tension and cuts off the excess end flush.

These heat-resistant cable ties can be used from approximately -40 to +120 °C. This means they withstand considerably higher temperatures than standard cable ties, which typically go up to around +80 °C.

Can I reuse the cable tie?

No, the self-locking toothed head is permanent and therefore single-use. Cutting is required to remove the tie.

Are these cable ties suitable for the engine bay?

Yes, thanks to their temperature resistance up to +120 °C and resistance to oils, they are suitable for engine bays, areas near exhausts and other hot environments.
