This black bundling strap (150 x 7.6 mm) in polyamide 6.6 combines a tensile strength of 13.6 kg with a maximum bundle diameter of 32 mm, making it a reliable choice for bundling and securing cabling. Thanks to the open expansion-anchor foot, you can also fit the tie around already present cabling and secure it in a drilled hole without tools. The package contains 100 pieces.

How do you fasten a cable tie?

The closure works on a ratchet principle: the toothed end slides through the head and clicks into place tooth by tooth, without slipping back. Hand-tightening is enough for most jobs; for larger quantities you work faster and more evenly with a cable tie plier.

Fastening with the open expansion anchor

The open expansion-anchor foot clicks into a pre-drilled hole and keeps the bundle in place, without loose plugs or screws. Because the foot is open, you can also easily fit the tie around existing cabling that you do not want to detach. That makes this version handy when extending or modifying existing installations.

How do I fit the open expansion-anchor cable tie?

You press the open mounting foot into a pre-drilled hole; the anchor clamps itself in place. Thanks to the open shape, you can also fit the tie around existing cabling without detaching it.

What is this cable tie resistant to?

The polyamide 6.6 is UV-stabilised and resistant to diluted acids and oils. The tie can be used at temperatures of roughly -40 to +80 °C, suitable for most indoor and outdoor applications.

Are black cable ties suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, the black version contains a UV-stabilising additive and is therefore resistant to sunlight. Natural/white ties are mainly intended for indoor use.
