# Transparent machine film 250% 17my x 50 cm x 2000m

## Machine wrapping film 250% 17 my x 50 cm x 2000 m transparent

This film combines a thin 17 my with a high stretch percentage of 250%. On a well-adjusted wrapping machine, the film stretches considerably, so you wrap more pallets with fewer grams of film – the most economical choice for light, regular loads in high volume. ## Matching stretch and thickness

Heavier loads call for a thicker film; view the 20, 23 and 35 my in our [machine wrapping film](en/wrapping-film-shrink-film-top-sheets-pallets/stretch-film-wrap-film/machine-wrapping-film). Unsure about the right stretch setting? We are happy to think along with you.

## Frequently asked questions

### What does 250% stretch deliver?

Because the film stretches further, you use less film per pallet. That lowers the cost per wrapped pallet, provided your machine is well adjusted.

### Do I need a special machine for 250%?

You need a wrapping machine with adjustable pre-stretch to make use of the high stretch percentage. Without pre-stretch, you will not achieve the return.

### Is 17 my strong enough?

For light, smooth pallets, yes. For heavier or sharp loads, choose a thicker film.
