# Gusseted bags 7cm x 2.25cm gusset x 18cm, 20my

Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for gusseted bags, including compact formats for small portions. This 7 x 2.25 x 18 cm bag is made for nuts, dried fruit, sweets and tea. The narrow side gusset opens as you fill it, so the bag stands up neatly on a counter or in a crate.

## Gusseted bag 7 x 2.25 x 18 cm, 20 my

### Small portions that need to stay upright

With a width of 7 cm, a 2.25 cm side gusset and a length of 18 cm, this is one of the smaller gusseted bags you can choose. It suits portion packs: mixed nuts, dried fruit, liquorice, sweets, loose tea or a bag of fresh herbs. Because the gusset unfolds when filled, the bag gets a small base of its own and does not fall over like a flat bag would.

### Also practical outside the food trade

The same size works well for small hardware such as screws, plugs and washers, for cosmetic samples, hair accessories or a set of pens. The film is transparent, so whoever picks the order sees at once what is inside and can check the contents without opening the bag.

### Choosing and closing

Measure the widest part of your product and leave a little room, so the bag can still be folded over or sealed properly. The bag is open and not resealable. You can close it with a strip of tape, a bag clip or a heat sealer. At 20 my the film is a good middle option: firm enough to hold its shape, yet light and easy to handle by the thousand.

The LDPE is suitable for direct food contact, and as LDPE is a recyclable plastic, the empty bags can be offered for plastic recycling where this is collected.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which products fit in a 7 x 2.25 x 18 cm gusseted bag?

The bag suits small portions such as nuts, dried fruit, sweets, tea and herbs, as well as small parts like screws or plugs. Measure your product first and keep a little space at the top for closing.

### Can I put food straight into this bag?

Yes. The LDPE film is suitable for direct food contact, so you can fill it with unwrapped nuts, dried fruit or sweets. Keep the bags in their box until use so they stay clean.

### How do I close an open gusseted bag?

The bag has no zip or adhesive strip. Fold the top over and use tape, a clip or a heat sealer. A heat sealer gives the neatest, tightest result for small portions of dry goods.

### Is 20 my thick enough for small items?

For light small portions 20 my is a sound choice. Thicker film is stiffer and more resistant to tearing and puncturing, so for sharp items such as small metal parts, a heavier grade may be worth considering.
