# Gusseted bags 14cm x 4cm gusset x 38cm, 20my

Long and wide enough for a proper bunch: the 14 x 4 x 38 cm gusseted bag handles flowers, leeks and long tools. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for gusseted bags for florists, greengrocers and workshops. The film is transparent and suitable for food contact.

## Gusseted bag 14 x 4 x 38 cm, 20 my

### Flowers and plants

Florists find that a 14 cm width fits a modest bunch of tulips, daffodils or freesias with the stems wrapped together, while 38 cm covers short-stemmed bunches and the upper part of longer ones. The bag keeps the heads protected during carrying and displays them through the clear film.

### Vegetables and herbs

Leeks, spring onions, celery, bunches of kale and bundled carrots with leaf fit this length. Because the film is suitable for direct food contact, produce can be bagged without extra wrapping, and the gusset keeps the bag open for quick loading.

### Tools and textiles

In trade, the same size takes garden shears, short-handled hand tools, rolled textiles and a folded tablecloth. For anything sharp, test the fit first; thicker film is stiffer and more resistant to puncturing than 20 my.

- Open bag, not resealable

- Close with tape, clip or heat sealer

- Recyclable LDPE

Measure the width of the bunch when it is tied; 14 cm leaves a little margin for most standard bunches.

Choose the 38 cm length when your bunches vary in height, because the top can always be folded down for shorter products.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does a bunch of tulips fit in this bag?

A modest bunch with the stems tied together usually does, with the heads showing through the clear film. For larger bunches, choose a wider format so the flowers are not crushed.

### Is this a good size for leeks?

Yes. At 38 cm it holds a bundle of leeks or spring onions with the tops, and the gusset helps it stand while you fill it. Try one bundle first to check the fit.

### What is the benefit of a clear bag for florists?

Customers can see the flowers, and staff can check quantities and colours without opening the bag. It also saves time when several orders are packed side by side.

### Should I fold the top of the bag?

Yes. Fold it over once or twice and close it with tape or a clip. It makes a neater pack and protects the contents from dust while they are stored or carried.
