# Gusseted bags 14cm x 4cm gusset x 26cm, 20my

A compact bag with a generous width: 14 x 4 x 26 cm suits baked goods, small vegetables and product sets. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for gusseted bags for retail portions of this kind. The LDPE film is transparent and suitable for direct food contact.

## Gusseted bag 14 x 4 x 26 cm, 20 my

### Wider than it is long

The proportions of this bag are closer to a pouch than a tube. With 14 cm of width and 26 cm of length it holds broad but not very long goods: a few bread rolls, a pack of cookies, mushrooms, a head of lettuce, radishes, a bundle of small cables or a set of kitchen cloths.

### Why it works for retail

The gusset opens to a base of about 14 x 4 cm, which lets the bag stand on a counter and look neat. Shopkeepers can fill it quickly and fold the top over. Because the film is clear, customers see the goods at once.

### Choosing this size

If you pack goods that are long and slim, a narrower bag is a better fit. If they are broader, take a width of 18 cm. When in doubt, measure the widest point of a sample and compare it with the 14 cm of the bag, allowing a small margin.

- Close the open bag with tape, a clip or a heat sealer.

- Not resealable.

- Recyclable LDPE; 1000 pieces per box.

At 20 my the film is flexible and suited to soft or light products.

## Frequently asked questions

### What fits in a 14 x 4 x 26 cm bag?

Broad but not very long products, such as bread rolls, cookies, mushrooms, salad heads and kitchen cloths. Always test with a sample before you order a full box of bags.

### Is the bag suitable for baked goods?

Yes. The film is suitable for direct food contact and transparent, so customers see the goods. Let baked goods cool before bagging them, then fold the top over and close the bag.

### How does it compare with the 14 x 4 x 32 cm bag?

Width and gusset are the same; this one is six centimetres shorter. It gives a snugger fit for shorter goods and uses less film, which can help when you pack in large numbers.

### Can I close the bag more than once?

No. It is an open bag with no zip. If you need to reclose, use a clip, which can be taken off and put back, or fold the top over a second time.
