# Freezer bags 15 x 4.5 side gusset x 30 cm. 50 microns - Transparent

## Wide freezer bag for meal components and flat freezing

At 15 cm wide and 30 cm long, this freezer bag is compact yet roomy. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for freezer bags, and we see this size proving especially popular in kitchens that freeze soups, sauces and meal components flat.

### Flat freezing saves space

Fill the bag with soup, sauce or stew, press out the air and lay it flat on a baking tray in the freezer. Once frozen, stand the flat packs upright like books in a crate. This saves a great deal of space in the cold store, and the contents defrost faster and more evenly later on.

### Also suited to fish and fillets

The wide opening makes it easy to lay fish fillets, schnitzels or marinated chicken neatly side by side. Need a bag you can open and close again and again? Take a look at our [resealable bags](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/wrapping-film-shrink-film-top-sheets-pallets/resealable-bags) as well.

## Frequently asked questions about these freezer bags

### Can I freeze liquids such as soup in this freezer bag?

Yes, as long as you close the bag properly and let it freeze flat or upright in a tub. Do not fill it to the top, as liquids expand slightly when frozen.

### Why does this bag have a gusset?

The gusset gives the bag more capacity and a more stable shape when filled, making it easier to fill and helping it stay upright.

### Do the bags hold up to marinades or oil?

Yes, LDPE resists moisture, oil and most marinades. The bag stays supple and leak-proof, provided it is properly closed.
