# Yellow Nichiban® tape 38 mm x 50 m. 1 roll.

## Yellow Nichiban® tape 38 mm x 50 m

Yellow Nichiban® tape (38 mm x 50 m) is a professional gaffer tape of Japanese manufacture, type NT1200, with a strong cloth backing and high adhesion. The tape adheres firmly, yet can be removed cleanly after use without adhesive residue – it is precisely this combination that sets Nichiban® apart from ordinary duct tape. Yellow is a classic attention and marking colour that stands out well without the brightness of fluorescent. At 38 mm this is a slightly narrower version, convenient for targeted work along edges and on narrower surfaces.

## Applications and sectors

Thanks to its strong adhesion and clean removal, this Nichiban® tape is used in a wide range of industries, including for:

- masking for sandblasting and spray work;
- assembling and temporarily sealing air ducts;
- applying narrow, targeted markings;
- marking positions and zones and labelling components;
- temporary repairs to sea containers, vehicles and machines;

You will find the tape used in, among others, construction and industry, transport and logistics and set building and theatre.

Genuine Nichiban® tape always has a printed core bearing the text Nichiban®. If that print is missing from the core, it is not genuine Nichiban® and the tape lacks the characteristic adhesion and clean removal.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I write on this tape?

Yes, the top layer is easy to write on with a marker, which is handy for marking, labelling and coding.

### Does Nichiban® tape leave adhesive residue?

No, Nichiban® is designed to be removed cleanly and leaves no adhesive residue on most surfaces. Test on a small area beforehand on porous or sensitive surfaces.

### How do I recognise genuine Nichiban® tape?

By the printed core: genuine Nichiban® always has the text Nichiban® on the core. A blank core means it is not genuine Nichiban® and therefore does not have the same properties.
