What is machine tape?
Machine tape, as the name suggests, is used mechanically for box closing machines in particular. The advantage of the machine tapes is their long roll length, which means you don't have to change the rolls as often. We supply 3 types:
- PP hot-melt tape: limited lifespan, provided with a water-based hot-melt adhesive (environmentally friendly) with high initial adhesive power and optimally processable between 18 and 22 ° C
- PP-solvent tape: long life, provided with a rubber-solvent adhesive layer and suitable for cardboard boxes, but also very suitable for frozen packaging
- PP-acrylic tape: water-based acrylic adhesive (environmentally friendly), medium initial adhesive strength that becomes stronger over time, makes little noise
The PP solvent tape is the most commonly used machine tape.
