With a starter set polyester strap 16mm you have everything you need to start securing your loads. Polyester strapping can be used for a variety of applications, such as securing loads to pallets, bundling goods, securing cargo in a truck or container, and much more.

The starter set polyester strap 16mm consists of:

• 1 roll of polyester strapping 16 mm wide x 850 meters long
• 500 steel buckles for 16mm polyester strap
• 1 handy tensioner for polyester strap
• 1 portable reel for polyester strapping
• 100 plastic corners

What are the characteristics of 16mm polyester strap?

16mm polyester strap is a strapping material consisting of woven polyester fibers. Polyester strap has the following properties:

• Strong: 16mm polyester webbing has a tensile strength of 450KG
• Flexible: the woven structure makes the polyester strap flexible and adapts easily to the shape of the object to be strapped.
• Corrosion resistant: 16mm polyester strap is resistant to corrosion, making it a good option for strapping products that are sensitive to corrosion
• UV resistant
• Water resistant

How do you use a polyester strap starter set?

To start using the set, proceed as follows:

• Remove the pin from the round tube -- place the roll on the tube -- put the pin back in the tube
• Put the buckles in the tray
• Cut a piece of polyester strapping. Make sure the piece is a bit longer than you actually need. That works much easier.
• Wrap the polyester strap around the pallet.
• Take a buckle and insert the top end of the polyester strap into the buckle. The video clearly shows how to do this.
• Insert the lower part of the polyester strap into the buckle
• Pull on both ends of the polyester strap to tighten it a bit
• If the contents of the pallet need extra protection and the polyester strap has to be prevented from constricting, use corner protectors
• Take the AVT tensioner and place the polyster strap in the tensioner as shown in the video
• Tighten the polyester strap firmly using the AVT tensioner
• Cut off the excess polyster strapping as shown in the video or use a utility knife.
