The netting stretches from 25 to 50 mm and so fits the great majority of pipes, fittings and loose components passing through a warehouse every day. The 200-metre roll stays in its dispenser box right down to the final metre. ## The size that covers most of the work ### Pipes, fittings and valves Think of copper and steel tubing, ball valves, couplings, shut-off valves, hydraulic nipples and brass fittings. The netting stretches lengthwise too, so a piece slightly shorter than the product still closes neatly once stretched — saving both material and cutting time. Only in the stretch range: the finer size is meant for products up to around 25 mm across, while this version covers 25 to 50 mm. The quality of 20 grams per metre and the 200-metre roll length are identical, so handling feels exactly the same. ### Does the netting fit square or rectangular profiles? Yes. In that case measure the diagonal of the profile rather than the side, because that is the distance the netting has to span. If the diagonal falls between 25 and 50 mm, the netting closes around the profile without the corners pushing through. ### How much does a full roll weigh? Around 4 kilos including the dispenser box. An operator can lift it onto the packing table with one hand, and the boxes take up little space on a pallet or shelf. ### Does the netting stay supple in an unheated warehouse? Polyethylene remains flexible at low temperatures, so the netting slides over a product just as easily in a cold hall as indoors. Do store the box in a dry place so the dispenser carton stays firm. ### What is the best way to store an opened roll? Simply leave the roll in its box and push the end back through the opening by a few centimetres.
