Cardboard corner protectors from 10cm long to 200cm long, directly available from stock

We supply cardboard corner profiles of 10 cm long directly from stock. Ordered on working days before 3.30 pm, the corner protectors will be sent the same day.

Cardboard corner profiles are used to protect corners and edges of goods and pallets during storage and transport. They are particularly useful when shipping fragile or delicate items, such as furniture, glassware, electronics and artwork, as they provide extra protection against damage and breakage.

In addition to a protective function, cardboard corner profiles can also be used as a stabilizer to keep the load in place on pallets.

Properties of cardboard corner profiles 45mm x 45mm, 3mm thick and 10 cm long are:

  • Moisture resistant
  • Pressure resistant
  • Made from recycled material
  • 100% recyclable

How do you use cardboard corner profiles?

In this example we assume the use of angle profiles in combination with a pallet shipment. But the corner profiles can also be cut to size and placed in the corners of a cardboard box for extra strength.

  • Place the items on the pallet.
  • Wrap the pallet manually or on the pallet wrapper with (machine) wrapping film.
  • If necessary, put a top sheet on the pallet if the top needs to be protected from moisture and dirt.
  • Lay the cardboard corner profiles on the edges of the pallet around the place where the strapping band will sit.
  • Secure the profile with a piece of tape and repeat the above at the other edges/places.
  • Place the strapping tape such as polyester strapping, PP strapping or PET strap around the pallet and over the corner profiles. This way, the strapping material will not constrict into the underlying products, if at all.
