## Thomas & Betts YLS-7.9-360BC: wide, black-coated 316 stainless cable tie, 360 x 7.9 mm

On steel structures, aluminium cable trays and galvanised brackets, you do not want the tie itself to cause corrosion. That is exactly what the YLS-7.9-360BC is made for. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for [Thomas & Betts cable ties](en/closure-materials/cable-ties/thomas-betts-cable-ties), supplying this wide, coated stainless tie mainly to installers in shipbuilding, offshore and industrial outdoor projects. At 360 mm long it bundles up to 100 mm.

Beneath the black layer is AISI 316 stainless steel. The coating is a low-smoke, halogen-free polyester that covers the entire strap. As a result, the stainless steel never touches another metal, no galvanic corrosion occurs, and the cable sheath is protected from the strap edges. Wherever different metals meet and moisture is present, this tie prevents long-term problems. Its black finish is also less conspicuous than bare stainless steel. Do bear in mind the maximum operating temperature of +150 °C.
