## Thomas & Betts TY25M-6 in blue – 186 x 4.8 mm cable tie, 1000 per box

Blue is a fixed colour in many installations, for example for the neutral conductor or for separate control circuits. With the TY25M-6, your fixings follow the same colour logic. The polyamide 6.6 strap is halogen-free and complies with RoHS and REACH. As you tighten it, the stainless steel barb in the head presses into the strap, locking the tie in any position so it cannot run back. ### Is blue suitable for marking the neutral conductor?

Blue is the usual colour for the neutral conductor in electrical work, so a blue tie around those conductors keeps an enclosure easy to read. Always follow the colour conventions that apply to your project.

### Is 222 N of tensile strength enough?

For ordinary cable bundles in enclosures and trunking, more than enough. Where higher loads apply, such as heavy hoses, the blue TY27M-6 rated at 534 N is the more logical choice.

### Can I release and reuse the tie?

No, the steel barb locks permanently. To open the bundle again, simply cut the tie. Resealable ties are designed for situations that change often.
