With their supple copper layer these ties work quickly and smoothly. For a robust or protective variant, see [galvanised loop tie wire](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/closure-materials/loop-wires/galvanised-loop-end-wire-twist-ties) or [plastic-coated loop tie wire](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/closure-materials/loop-wires/coated-loop-end-wire-twist-ties).

## Applications

### Organising cables

Ideal for keeping cables, cords and small bundles neatly together.

### DIY and hobby

Handy for all sorts of DIY, garden and hobby uses.

## Using the loop tie

Place the tie around the object and bend the two loops towards each other. Hook the hook of the [wire tie tool](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/closure-materials/loop-wires/wire-tie-tool) through both loops and pull the tool back and forth several times. This twists the wire around itself so it pulls tight and locks. A wire tie tool is essential here: closing the ties by hand is simply not practical.
