## What are coated loop wires?

Loop wires, also known as quick ties, are designed for securely fastening or tying objects together. These handy binders consist of a metal core with a protective green PVC coating, making them both strong and flexible. You can buy our loop wires in packs of 1000, available in various lengths - from shorter 100mm options to longer 750mm variants. This makes them suitable for a wide range of applications, whether you want to secure small items or tie larger bundles together.

## Applications of loop wires

You can use loop wires for different applications. Ranging from bundling cables to tying together heating pipes or fencing. In addition, loop wires are often used to close industrial bags. Unlike other [closure materials](en/closure-materials) (such as [tyraps](en/closure-materials/cable-ties) ), loop wires are made of metal which ensures a secure closure. The PVC coating ensures that they are resistant to rust. That is why you can use loop wires both indoors and outdoors.

## Use a tightening tool

When precision and speed are required, the [tightening tool or wire tie tool](en/closure-materials/loop-wires/wire-tie-tool) comes in handy. This device, available from Kortpack, makes it possible to tighten loop wires quickly and tightly, significantly increasing efficiency. Using a drill tying device can make your job a lot easier. Follow these simple steps for efficient use:

- Start by placing the drill tie around the object you want to secure.
- Then bring the ends of the drill tie, known as the 'eyes', together.
- Take the jackhammer device and thread the hook through both eyes of the jackhammer.
- Now pull the device towards you; you will notice that the drill tie closes and tightens effortlessly.
