### Do these ties stay strong in heat and around liquids?

Yes, polyamide 6.6 works from roughly -40 °C to +85 °C and resists many oils and solvents, even in damp or greasy surroundings.

### Can tight binding damage the cable sheath?

Not in normal use: the smooth band spreads the pressure evenly. Avoid over-tightening and the insulation stays intact.

### Can I release the tie and reuse it later?
