# White Cable Ties 250mm long x 4.8mm

## White cable ties 250 mm (4.8 mm wide)

At 250 mm long, you can bundle larger cable looms and thicker hoses effortlessly. The 4.8 mm band – a versatile mid-size with markedly more pulling power than 3.6 mm – provides a reliable, even grip around the whole bundle. See every size in our [white cable ties](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/closure-materials/cable-ties/white-cable-ties). The ties are made from polyamide 6.6 and offer a 22 kg tensile strength.

### Securing large bundles with 250 mm

The extra length makes this tie ideal for bulkier cable looms, several hoses at once or bringing together assorted conduits. The supple 4.8 mm band wraps neatly around the bundle and keeps everything in place. For larger quantities, a [cable tie pliers](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/closure-materials/cable-ties/cable-ties_pliers) delivers a constant, tidy tension.

### Material properties and outdoors

Polyamide 6.6 combines strength with flexibility, even around bulkier bundles. For outdoor use with prolonged sun exposure, we recommend the UV-resistant variant: our [black cable ties](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/closure-materials/cable-ties/black-tyraps), made specifically for outdoor applications.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I pull the tie tight around sensitive cables?

The smooth, wide 4.8 mm band spreads the pressure evenly and protects the insulation. Tighten it until the bundle sits neatly, but not so tight that the jacket of vulnerable cables is pinched.

### How do I avoid a sharp end after trimming?

Cut the excess band straight and close to the head, preferably with side cutters. That leaves no protruding point that could injure you or snag clothing.

### Are these cable ties reusable?

No, once locked they are intended for single use. If you want to adjust the bundle later, choose our [reusable cable ties](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/closure-materials/cable-ties/resealable-cable-ties).
