These white [white cable ties](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/closure-materials/cable-ties/white-cable-ties) of 250 mm x 7.6 mm are relatively short, yet the wide band makes them especially strong with a tensile strength of 54 kg. Ideal for firmly securing compact, heavy bundles. Made from polyamide 6.6 (nylon), per 1000 pieces (10 × 100). ### Compact size, high force

The short 250 mm length leaves little excess tail, while the 7.6 mm band clamps the bundle firmly. For a tight, even closure, use our [cable tie pliers](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/closure-materials/cable-ties/cable-ties_pliers).

### Robust nylon for heavier jobs

The polyamide 6.6 is sturdy and wear-resistant, suited to workshop and installation mounting. The white version is not UV-resistant; in the sun, choose the [black cable ties](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/closure-materials/cable-ties/black-tyraps).

## Frequently asked questions

### Why a short tie with such a wide band?

The mix of 250 mm length and 7.6 mm width gives you plenty of clamping force on a compact bundle, without a long tail to cut off.

### Does the wide band damage the cable insulation?

No, the wide band spreads the pressure over a larger area, easing the load on the insulation compared with a narrow tie.

### Can I reopen this cable tie after closing it?

No, this is a self-locking tie for single use. If you want to open and reclose regularly, choose our [reusable cable ties](https://www.kortpack.nl/en/closure-materials/cable-ties/resealable-cable-ties).
