## Black heat-resistant cable ties 370 x 7.6 mm

This black heat-resistant cable tie (370 x 7.6 mm) is specially developed for hot environments: the heat-stabilised polyamide 6.6 withstands -40 to +120 °C while retaining a tensile strength of 54.4 kg. Suitable for bundles up to 102 mm in diameter. The pack contains 100 pieces.

## Applications and sectors

These heat-resistant cable ties are developed for hot environments and are used, among other things, for:

- wiring near industrial ovens, machines and heat sources;
- spanning large bundles and pipework in hot environments;
- bundling wiring in engine bays and near exhaust systems;
- electrical installations where temperatures rise;

## How do you fasten a heat-resistant cable tie?

The closure works on a ratchet principle: the toothed end slides through the head and clicks into place tooth by tooth, without slipping back. Tightening by hand is sufficient; for even tension and a neat cut-off you use [a cable tie tool](en/closure-materials/cable-ties/cable-ties_pliers).

### Up to what temperature are these cable ties resistant?

These heat-resistant cable ties can be used from approximately -40 to +120 °C. This means they withstand considerably higher temperatures than standard cable ties, which typically go up to around +80 °C.

### Can I reuse the cable tie?

No, the self-locking toothed head is permanent and therefore single-use. Cutting is required to remove the tie.

### What else are these cable ties resistant to?

Besides heat, they are UV-stabilised and resistant to diluted acids and oils, which makes them suitable for demanding industrial and outdoor environments.
