# Heat-resistant Tyraps

*Heat-resistant cable ties are used to bundle or secure cables, pipes and other components in places where temperatures can rise considerably. Depending on the version, these cable ties are suitable for temperatures from −40°C to +115 or +120°C. Applications include electrical installations, vehicles, machinery and HVAC systems.*

## What are heat-resistant cable ties used for?

These cable ties are intended for applications where a standard cable tie does not offer sufficient temperature resistance. Examples include bundling wiring in a control cabinet, routing wiring harnesses in vehicles and securing cables or lightweight pipes near machinery, heating or ventilation systems. After inserting the end into the locking head, pull the tie tight to the required bundle diameter.

### Resistance to heat, UV and chemicals

The heat-resistant cable ties are UV-resistant and resistant to diluted acids and oils. They can therefore be used indoors and, depending on the conditions, outdoors. The cable ties meet the UL94 V-2 fire-safety standard. When choosing a size, always check the temperature range and tensile strength of the specific version.

### Black and green, in various sizes

The range includes black and green cable ties in lengths from 100 to 370 mm and widths from 2.5 to 7.6 mm. Depending on the width, tensile strength ranges from 8.1 to 54.4 kg. This allows you to select a version suited to the bundle diameter and load of your application.

## Sizes and specifications

The available sizes differ in length, width and tensile strength. Narrow cable ties are suitable for smaller cable bundles, while wider versions provide more tensile strength for larger bundles. Depending on the variant, a pack contains 100 or 1,000 pieces.
