## How do you fasten a cable tie?

The closure works on the ratchet principle: the toothed end slides through the head and clicks tight tooth by tooth, without running back. ## Mounting via the open expansion anchor

The open expansion-anchor foot presses into a pre-drilled hole and holds the bundle firmly, without any loose plugs or screws. Because the foot stays open, the tie fits easily around cabling that is already present and does not need to be disconnected. That makes this version useful when enlarging or modifying existing installations.

### How do I fit the open expansion-anchor cable tie?

You press the open mounting foot into a pre-drilled hole, where the anchor locks itself in place. Thanks to the open form, the tie also goes around existing cabling without you needing to loosen it.

### What is this cable tie resistant to?

The polyamide 6.6 is UV-stabilised and resistant to diluted acids and oils. The tie can be used at temperatures of roughly -40 to +80 °C, suitable for most indoor and outdoor applications.

### Can I reuse the cable tie?

No, the self-locking ratchet closure is permanent and therefore single-use. The band has to be cut through to remove it.
