The polyamide 6.6 is UV-resistant and resistant to diluted acids and oils. ## How do you fasten a cable tie?

The closure works on a ratchet principle: the toothed end slides through the head and clicks into place tooth by tooth, without slipping back. ## Fastening with the closed expansion anchor

The closed expansion-anchor foot fully encloses the mounting anchor and therefore provides extra grip in the drilled hole. That is beneficial in places with vibration or load, where the bundle must stay in place without fail. This foot, too, is fitted without tools.

### What is the advantage of a closed expansion anchor?

The closed foot fully encloses the anchor and offers extra grip in the drilled hole, which is beneficial with vibration and varying loads.

### Will the cable tie damage my cables?

Not with normal tightening; the wide strap distributes the pressure. Do not tighten the tie more than necessary to protect the insulation of sensitive cables.
