# Brown Cable Ties 775mm x 9.0 mm

## **Brown cable ties, from 10cm to 77cm long**

The brown cable ties 775mm long x 9.0mm, have the following features:

- Bundle diameter: 228mm
- Tensile strength: 79,4kg

## **Application area brown tyraps**

Brown cable ties are often used to mark products. The International Maritime Organisation (IMO) has set up a colour system that works with 6 colours: brown, blue, yellow, red, black and green. Each year is assigned its own colour, so you can immediately see in which year the inspection took place. The schedule up to 2042 is already prepared.

ISO 14726 also uses colour coding for work on pipelines and ships.

The **[coloured cable ties](en/closure-materials/cable-ties/cable-ties-in-various-colors)** are used at/in:

- Hoisting and lifting equipment inspections,
- Electrical engineering,
- Light and sound,
- Automotive,
- Stand construction

## **How to attach a tyrap**

A tyrap (also known as a cable tie) is a type of fastening material intended in particular for keeping electrical cables, among other things, together quickly and easily.

Once the pointed end of the cable tie is inserted into the hole on the other side and has passed the first ridge, it cannot be withdrawn. Tyraps can be attached by hand or used in combination with one of our [**cable tying pliers**](en/closure-materials/cable-ties/cable-ties_pliers)**.** The advantage of cable tie pliers is that the cable tie can be pulled tight and the protruding part can be cut off immediately.

These brown cable ties are resistant to diluted acids and oils. In addition, they can be processed at temperatures from -40 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius.
