# Single wall box 385x285x250 mm ## **Shipping box 385 x 285 x 250 mm in 4 mm single wall board for equipment** Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall shipping cartons, and this is the size many a workshop reaches for when a piece of equipment has to leave the building. At **385 x 285 x 250 mm** a compact machine, a power supply or a measuring instrument stands upright in the box, with room on every side for a layer of [protective and filling materials](en/protective-and-filling-materials). The board is single wall 4 mm in C quality: one fluted layer between two flat liners, but with a coarser flute than the 3 mm B version. That taller flute gives spring, and spring is precisely what you want around equipment. For contents that are genuinely heavy, look at a [double wall shipping box](en/cardboard-boxes/folding-boxes/cardboard-boxes-double-wave) instead. ### **What this size is used for** - **Equipment and appliances:** pumps, power supplies, routers, small kitchen appliances and meters. - **Return shipments:** strong enough to let a device travel out and back again. - **Consignments with accessories:** the unit in the middle, cables and manual in the space around it. ### **Specifications** - **Dimensions:** 385 x 285 x 250 mm - **Material:** corrugated cardboard - **Quality:** single wall, 4 mm - **Flute type:** C-flute - **Colour:** brown - **Printing:** unprinted - **Pack contents:** 20 boxes - **Packs per pallet:** 48 ### **Features and benefits** - **4 mm C-flute board** - noticeably more spring than the 3 mm version offers. - **Supplied flat** - takes up almost no space on the shelf until you set it up. - **Unprinted brown board** - free to label and seal however your process requires. - **Pack of 20 boxes** - a workable order quantity for a size like this. Do you have questions about which size of [single wall shipping boxes](en/cardboard-boxes/folding-boxes/single-wave-shipping-boxes) is best suited to your situation? Please don't hesitate to contact us - by phone on [+31 184 – 614256](tel:+31%20184%20-%20614256), via [info@kortpack.nl](mailto:info@kortpack.nl) or via [WhatsApp](https://wa.me/31184614256). ### **Frequently asked questions** ### How much filling material do I need in this size? Allow roughly 30 to 40 mm all round the device. With 250 mm of height that means a bottom layer, a top layer and padding in the four corners, so the contents cannot tip over in transit. ### Why 4 mm board rather than 3 mm? The 4 mm C-flute has a taller flute and therefore absorbs more shock. With hard or valuable contents you notice that difference. For light consignments the 3 mm B-flute is perfectly adequate. ### Does the box stay upright while I am packing it? It does. The 4 mm wall thickness keeps an erected box steady on the bench even before the bottom flaps are taped, which makes it easier to lower a heavier unit in with both hands. ## Gerelateerde producten - [Kortpack dispenser Box void-fill paper](en/palletdeals/kortpack-dispenser-box-void-fill-paper) -
