# Single wall box 305x220x275 mm A4

## **Folding box 305 x 220 x 275 mm - the in-between height**

In-between sizes exist because products do not respect round numbers. If your item stands twenty-six centimetres tall, a box of 250 mm is too shallow and one of 300 mm is mostly air. This version of **305 x 220 x 275 mm** sits precisely between the two. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for [folding boxes](en/cardboard-boxes/folding-boxes), and it is exactly these less obvious heights that we keep in stock.

### **Why twenty-five millimetres matter**

Less surplus space means two things: you need less filling material and you ship a smaller volume. With carriers that charge on volumetric weight, a tightly chosen height makes a noticeable difference to freight costs over a full year. The board is a single wall of 3 mm in B quality, the usual build for light to medium-weight consignments. B-flute has a fine flute structure and therefore a smooth outer face on which shipping labels lie flat. Assembly takes one movement, because the boxes arrive flat and store without floor space until you need them.

### **Suitable for**

- **Upright items** - bottles, tins, small appliances and packed components.
- **Sets in two layers** - two tiers of a good ten centimetres with a divider between them.
- **Technical trade** - hoses, fittings and accessories in one upright box.

Do you have questions about which size of [single wall shipping boxes](en/cardboard-boxes/folding-boxes/single-wave-shipping-boxes) is best suited to your situation? ### **Frequently asked questions**

### Why 275 mm and not simply 250 or 300 mm?

Because the contents decide. A box that is too tall calls for extra cushioning and costs volume, while one that is too shallow will not close. This height fills the gap between the two round sizes.

### Can I ship bottles upright in this box?

That works well as long as you secure the bottles with a divider or an insert. Loose bottles slide about and then load the flaps instead of the base.

### When is a heavier quality the better choice?

As soon as the contents become noticeably heavier or more fragile, move to the 4 mm version or to [double wall shipping boxes](en/cardboard-boxes/folding-boxes/cardboard-boxes-double-wave).
